b. The last BeAZ tour of Barrow's Neurological Institute was a huge success. We got to experience brain surgery from the same high-tech observation room used by doctors and residents. Check this link, under the "events" tab, for information on September's event at the Arizona School for the Arts.
a. Many people know that charter schools have greater freedom to innovate, but don't know that this means drastically less oversight in how they spend our taxpayer money. I support the charter schools that respect our taxpayers. But, I've learned a lot recently about the huge loopholes that allow some charter schools to abuse the system. Here's an introduction to the topic.
